Website Design & Development
Web design and development skills are highly sought after. Our team have developed website design and development skills through a combination of training with external web development companies, and simply having a go, learning from mistakes, and building upon their knowledge and experience this way.
Roles within the group are generally not specific to web development, salaries for relevant roles range between £25,000 and £80,000 per annum, experience in website design and development, all round business knowledge and other key skills and attributes could to lead to opportunities in more senior Marketing & Branding, or Creative & Graphic Design roles.
The web development process also typically involves collaboration and input from a number of other individuals and teams within the business including the creative and marking teams, Sales, and Photography & Videography to name a few.
What Our Team Say
“One of the key parts of my role in website design & development for the Marches Business Group is not only the production of high quality designs from initial ideas and concepts (which must suit the detailed requirements for any particular company in the group) but to also offer users a seamless and engaging experience. There’s nothing worse than a website where you can’t find the item you’re looking for.
Future development and website maintenance is also a key part of the role, keeping up with trends and staying in touch with the latest technological developments is also vital to keep the Marches Business Group moving forward.
The ongoing maintenance and development of our various websites can also be very rewarding, from adding thousands of new products to coincide with the latest product launch to showcasing all the promotional content supplied by our photography and videography departments, to see these changes and improvements instantly is immensely satisfying.”
— Swin. Graphic Design and Photography Team Coordinator.
“After graduating University with a degree in Physiology, I decided I wanted to pursue a more creative career. As a Digital Content & Website Coordinator, I create digital content for multiple websites within the group including writing copy, blogs, social media posts, marketing emails, and creating graphics. I also regularly update and maintain the group’s existing sites alongside developing new websites from scratch.
There are constantly new projects for me to undertake which means I’m constantly learning and developing new skills. I love the variety of my workload and look forward to seeing how my role progresses further!”
