How We Invest

We invest in three main ways.

1. Capital Investment – Using a cash injection from the Marches Business Group to benefit a business in return for equity in the company.

2. People Investment – Investing in a person based on their potential, giving them training and a role within the Marches Business Group to benefit both parties.

3. Time Investment – The experience and talents of existing team members within our group can be used to benefit other businesses, assessing strategy, finances, and accessing our wider network of resources.

The reason behind all three investment models is to help us achieve our main aim; happiness, development and success for everyone involved in our business group.

Below is a list of the resources we can offer to help businesses and a further description of each.

We have developed a tried and tested template emphasising career development and learning, helping businesses improve employee structure, encouraging progression.
We have a team who are experienced in implementing new strategies to encourage business growth.
The budget range for our investments or cash injection is usually between £10,000 and £200,000 per investment, in exchange for Marches Business Group Ventures LTD partly owning the investment partners business.
Our team currently includes three full time product designers. Alongside a 3D printer and a variety of software packages these specialists are experts in the product design process and are on hand to help with a variety of projects.
As well as owning our own manufacturing facilities in the UK and India we also have a network of other manufacturing facilities and contacts throughout the UK and worldwide.
Our in-house graphics team can complete a variety of tasks and projects in our new graphics and media building based at our Mid-Wales headquarters.
We have a small marketing team and are also building a network of external marketing agencies that can help with marketing strategies and campaigns.
Large warehouse storage and competitive courier rates mean we can help smaller businesses with their logistics and delivery services.
We currently have office space, and other facilities such as meeting rooms and canteens in Llandrindod Wells, Cardiff, Stoke-on-Trent, and New Delhi.
We are experienced in setting up sales, customer service and accounts teams, and also work with a network of business-to-business sales executives.
We can offer businesses support in all financial forecasting.
Our group is experienced in website design with our in-house team able to complete a range of projects from simple information-only websites, to bespoke ecommerce sites.
