Purpose:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will aid the Warehouse Manager in leading the day-to-day operations within the warehouse, overseeing team members, and coordinating core logistic functions, while playing a key role in delivering high impact operational projects. With a strong focus on detail and data, you will support continuous improvement through advanced use of Excel and data-driven decision-making to optimise workflows, inventory accuracy, and process efficiency.
This hands-on leadership position offers an exceptional opportunity to develop your managerial skills, alongside your technical capabilities in warehouse systems, reporting, and process development. You will play a pivotal role in shaping operational improvements and best practices, while mentoring and developing the team below you, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, growth, and high performance.
Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate order dispatch.
Lead warehouse projects with a focus on process improvement, efficiency, and operational accuracy.
Utilise advanced Excel skills to create and manage reports, analyse trends and support data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, inventory, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.
Identify and escalate operational issues, contributing to the design and implementation of long-term solutions.
Support the development of warehouse team members through coaching, mentoring, and structured career pathways, including leading Career Development meetings to improve skills and performance with the goal of helping others grow to be equal to or better than yourself.
Foster a positive, accountable team culture that encourages continuous improvement and high performance.
Package:
£28,000 - £35,000 (Depending on experience).
