At Marches Business Group, we build and grow businesses we believe in. Two of our core companies, From The Anvil and Marches Ironmongery, design, manufacture and supply architectural hardware to joiners, door and window manufacturers, and ironmongery resellers across the UK.
The Role
This role is to strengthen the management team and to support the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
The leadership of the warehouse team and ensuring productivity is being hit
To improve the layout of the facility
To manage full 360 warehouse operations from goods in to despatch
Health and safety management and adherence
Logistics and 3rd party courier liaison and negotiation
Improvement of warehouse operations and WMS
What We’re Looking For
You will currently be a warehouse manager or operations manager within a product distribution company. You will have experience of full 360 warehouse operations and will be experienced in leading a multi disciplined team. You will be proven in process improvement and have experience in WMS/ERP systems. Perpetual inventory and/or experience in true cycle counting is key as well as the ability to set and maintain good standards and working practices. Our client is looking for a proactive individual who will originate their own improvement plans.
Salary, Bonus & Benefits
This role will offer an opportunity for progression to Operations Director level as well as a place on the SLT.
The role will also be rewarded with a salary of between £45,000 and £60,000
Location & Travel
We are based at LD1, Mid Wales. Role requires attendance at HQ.
