We are seeking a highly organised and people focused Sales & Customer Service Supervisor to lead the day-to-day performance of our sales and customer service teams, driving service excellence, team development and operational efficiency.
The Role
You will play a central role in overseeing the day-to-day performance of the sales and customer service function, ensuring customers receive a consistently high level of service while enquiries, orders and communications are handled efficiently and accurately.
In addition, you will play a key role in leading and developing the team, driving performance, engagement and service standards while supporting continuous improvements that enhance customer experience, operational performance and the ongoing evolution of our sales and customer service operations.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales performance across the department, monitoring trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and supporting the team in achieving sales targets and business objectives.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, supporting key accounts, maximising sales opportunities and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the customer journey.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales and Customer Service teams, ensuring customer enquiries are resolved efficiently, workloads are effectively managed, resources are allocated appropriately, and teams work collaboratively to meet business objectives.
Track and evaluate sales performance, figures and team KPIs, preparing monthly reports and contributing to management meetings with insights and strategic recommendations.
Take ownership and implement operational processes and procedures to enhance team efficiency and service quality that align with company strategy.
Mentor team members through structured Career Development meetings to enhance their skills, confidence and performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Manage team-related administrative tasks such as managing holiday schedules, monitoring absences, supporting performance discussions, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to execute strategic business initiatives and recommend improvements or new solutions that support business growth and scalability.

£33,000-£43,000 (depending on experience), plus company-wide bonus linked to overall annual sales growth of the group. You’ll be part of Marches Business Group, with access to the wider benefits and support that come with working for a growing, people-focused group.
Salary, Bonus & Benefits
We are based at LD1, Mid Wales. Role requires attendance at HQ, Mon-Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm.
