Product & Projects Executive
From The Anvil & Marches Ironmongery – part of the Marches Business Group
At Marches Business Group, we build and grow businesses we believe in. Two of our core companies, From The Anvil and Marches Ironmongery, design, manufacture and supply architectural hardware to joiners, door and window manufacturers, and ironmongery resellers across the UK.
We’re looking for a Product & Projects Executive to help move important product-focused projects from idea to reality. This role sits within our Product Team, working across product design and development, procurement, technical and supply chain. While the wider team is focused on day-to-day work, this role exists to give longer-running projects the time, structure and attention they need.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for picking up a range of established projects and seeing them through to completion. This will include product improvements and enhancements, packaging changes, elements of new product development, and work around product testing, certification and compliance.
A key part of the role will be supporting work around Part Q and PAS 24 regulations, helping ensure our products are ready for any future changes to regulations, including testing and certification for retrofit doors and windows.
You’ll spend time organising information, coordinating input from colleagues, keeping track of progress, and making sure projects continue to move forward in a clear and structured way.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee multiple product-related projects and keep them moving from start to finish.
Support product improvements, packaging updates and development activity.
Help manage testing, certification and compliance work across relevant products.
Work closely with colleagues across the Product Team and wider business.
Maintain clear records, timelines and project information.
Bring a practical, organised approach to complex and detailed work.
What We’re Looking For
This role would suit someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for detailed, longer-term pieces of work and seeing them through to the end. You’ll have strong organisational skills, good commercial awareness, and a thorough, analytical approach to information and data.
Experience working with products, technical information or regulated environments would be helpful, but just as important is a willingness to learn, ask questions and get stuck in.
Salary, Bonus & Benefits
Salary (dependent on experience) plus company-wide bonus linked to overall annual sales growth of the group. You’ll be part of Marches Business Group, with access to the wider benefits and support that come with working for a growing, people-focused group.
Location & Travel
We are based at LD1, Mid Wales. Reliable commuting or relocation would be required for non-local candidates. Some flexible working may be available for the right person, but we value having people in and around our team to learn from each other and make progress together.
About Marches Business Group
We invest for the long term, take pride in our products, and put a strong focus on developing our people alongside our businesses.
If you enjoy bringing structure to complex project work and want to play a hands-on role in shaping what we make and how we make it, we’d love to hear from you.
