Internal Sales Coordinator

From The Anvil, Marches Ironmongery & Period Property Store – part of the Marches Business Group

At Marches Business Group, we build and grow businesses we believe in. Three of our core companies, From The Anvil, Marches Ironmongery and Period Property Store, design, manufacture and supply architectural hardware alongside other premium home build and renovation products to a wide-ranging customer base across the UK.

We’re looking for two individuals who have a keen interest in sales, a positive and friendly attitude, willingness to learn, and a collaborative spirit. Working across multiple brands within our group, you will work closely with our Customer Service and External Sales Teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently while spotting opportunities to upsell, promote our product range and strengthen customer relationships.

The Role

From initial enquiries and order processing to final deliveries, you will keep everything connected, helping our customers get exactly what they need and ensuring every opportunity to add value is maximised. You will keep sales momentum on track, supporting growth one order at a time and ensuring sales opportunities don’t slip through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the wider internal sales team to ensure the completion of customer enquiries to a high level.

  • Process a large volume of orders with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.

  • Build relationships with our established customer base to strengthen the company or brand’s reputation.

  • Offer technical and product advice and recommendations to customers.

  • Assist with after sales and customer services enquiries.

  • Maintain accurate data on our internal software systems ensuring customers are always receiving correct information.

  • Follow up on customer quotes to maximise sales opportunities within the internal sales team. 

What We’re Looking For

A positive, organised individual with excellent communication skills, confident working in a fast-paced environment and with a passion for people and sales. Experience of sales processing and customer service would be helpful, but just as important is a willingness to learn, ask questions and get stuck in.

£23,000-£33,000 (depending on experience), plus company-wide bonus linked to overall annual sales growth of the group. You’ll be part of Marches Business Group, with access to the wider benefits and support that come with working for a growing, people-focused group.

Salary, Bonus & Benefits

We are based at LD1, Mid Wales. Role requires attendance at HQ, Mon-Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm.
